“I am a keen runner and enjoy exercise. I have quite a demanding job but ensure I always look after my body to keep my health in check. How ever after having my first baby I was struggling to fit back into my pre pregnancy clothes and I lacked the energy needed in my new role as mum. I understood the importance of having good amounts of strength in my upper body in order to carry around my new son and make sure I could keep up with him. I really wanted to feel like my old self again so I started PT sessions with Eoin. I hoped he would show me how to get my body into the best shape possible so I could meet the demands of my life and start back running.
The sessions are very enjoyable; Eoin blends the science of training with good fun and a welcoming atmosphere. During the weights sessions I am performing exercises I would never have attempted on my own and lifting more than I ever thought possible. Eoin keeps the workouts varied and challenging and monitors to ensure I have the right technique so I get the most out of each session. My weeks can become quite hectic with work and life but Eoin is always very accommodating if I need to reschedule a session to another day or time.
After starting at EMF my overall strength, posture and fitness improved so much in a short space of time. I have also learned a lot from Eoin’s nutritional advice and I am eating healthier to achieve results without feeling like I am on a diet. I feel his non restrictive and flexible approach is useful in helping me eat the foods I like while not going completely overboard when I do eat them.
